Corn falls for fourth day as dollar rises; wheat gains
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) - Corn futures fell for a fourth straight session Tuesday, with the benchmark contract briefly dropping to its lowest level in more than four months, as a stronger dollar put downward pressures on dollar-denominated commodities prices.
Whole Foods shares tumble on weak results
CHICAGO (MarketWatch) - Shares of Whole Foods Markets Inc. fell to a six-year low Wednesday as investors digested disappointing fiscal third-quarter results and the company's decision to suspend its dividend.

Jalapeño Pepper Tests Positive for Salmonella
A fresh jalapeño pepper grown in Mexico and processed in Texas has tested positive for the strain of salmonella that has sickened more than 1,200 people in recent months, food safety and health officials said today.

Corn Has Biggest Weekly Drop in 12 Years on Argentine Tax Vote
July 18 (Bloomberg) -- Corn fell, capping the biggest weekly drop in 12 years, after Argentina revoked escalating taxes on some grain exports, ending a dispute with farmers that disrupted shipments. Soybeans and wheat also dropped.

-- Tomatoes are again safe to eat, the Food and Drug Administration said Thursday, weeks after the food was blamed as a source of a salmonella outbreak in the United States and Canada.
