Restaurants pull tomatoes after Salmonella outbreak

OAK BROOK, ILL. — Several of the nation’s top quick-service restaurant chains and supermarkets have begun pulling certain types of tomatoes over concerns about Salmonella food poisoning linked to uncooked tomatoes.
